Submitting your Master's or Doctoral thesis
Once your Master's or Doctoral thesis is complete and your forms have been filled out and signed, it is time for your initial submission. It is through this important step that the evaluation process begins. The method of initial submission varies according to the faculty.

Use the Master's and Doctoral theses Evaluation System portal (EMT)
You will use this deposit method if you are studying at one of the following faculties:
- Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (FESP) - Individualized programs
- Forestry, Geography and Geomatics (FFGG)
- Philosophy (FP)
- Business Administration (FSA)
- Education (FSE)
- Theology and Religious Sciences (FTSR)
To make your initial submission, you must access the Master's and Doctoral theses Evaluation System portal (EMT) using your UL ID (IDUL) and your usual password (PIN) to log in. Please read the procedure (in French only) carefully.
If you have problems accessing this form, using a different browser usually works around the problem.
Important! Once the form has been sent, you will receive an automatic acknowledgment of receipt of the form. Make sure you also receive an email from the address: evaluation@fesp.ulaval.ca confirming your initial deposit.
