Financial support

As a postdoctoral fellow, you may qualify for partial or full financial support through:

• A taxable salary paid from grants or contracts obtained by one or more faculty members (in French only)
• A named scholarship from a recognized outside organization

Visit the Student Awards and Financial Aid Office for information on the main organizations offering postdoctoral fellowships and to consult the scholarship directory.

The University does not set the amounts that host units offer to postdoctoral fellows for fellowship grant or salaries.  Note, however, that a minimum salary is set by collective agreement  (French only) between Université Laval and postdoctoral fellows.

In the event of a discrepancy between the French and English texts, the French version prevails.
